Virtual College, renowned for its online courses and learning management software, has been shortlisted in both categories which it entered in the prestigious Training Journal Awards 2018.

The Awards, now in their 13th year, recognise the ingenuity, creativity, passion and hard work of learning and development professionals from around the world. The awards’ categories allow a broad range of companies and individuals to participate and reflect the increasing diversity and scope in the L&D landscape.

Virtual College has been successfully shortlisted in both categories which it has entered:

  • Best Training Partnership – DPG and Virtual College: Taking Level 5 HR training online.
  • Best Use of Technology in Learning – DPG and Virtual College: Taking Level 5 HR training online.

Developing People Globally (DPG) and Virtual College partnered to take DPG's Level 5 CIPD Human Resources Management blended learning qualification fully online to attract new learners, reduce costs and maintain a high quality learning experience. Working together, they have delivered impressive commercial results for DPG, on their first online-only, CIPD accredited course.

The winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be announced at the Training Journal Awards Gala Dinner, this year taking place at the Pavilion at the Tower of London on the 4th December.
